Wow, I can't believe it is June already. I haven't posted much, I've been so busy. Here's what I've been up to:
- working (yes, I have a full-time job)
- writing (wrote a devotion, which got rejected)
- revising (I just finished Scene 20 and I'm so happy with it)
- reading (read "The Red Tent". Now on "In the Sanctuary of Outcasts")
- exercising (swimming and biking)
- gardening (veggies are loving the rain)
- weeding the brick walkways (weeds are also loving the rain :0( )
- enjoying the family
This summer on my blog, I'd like to share short Writing Tips. That's about all I'll have time for. How about you? What will you be blogging about? What summer plans to you have? Heck, what are you up to? Leave me a comment, 'cause I'd love to hear.
I am waiting for school to end so I can enjoy my kids all summer!
ReplyDeleteI'm also running like a madwoman--preparing for a 10k, organizing those neglected winter drawers :), preparing for this camp where I work as a camp counselor, gardening, weeding said garden and I have no idea what I'll be blogging about this summer...I guess I'm going to live in the mystery. :)
Lisa, You are busy too! Mystery is good. :0)
DeleteI'm silly enough to be blogging through all of John in June. And I'm doing Camp Nanowrimo... so if my fingers don't fall off I'd love it.
ReplyDeleteBTW, I'm looking for devotionals on my blog. I can't pay, but it is something if you are interested.

Kelly,
DeleteI need to come read your John blogs. Good luck with the camp Nanowrimo!
I would love to write a devotion for your blog sometime. It is just tough to find time.
Kelly,
DeleteWhat is your blog address? I can't get it off your profile. Thanks!
Today was the first "big day" of summer--my daughter's baby shower. Had about 30 women in my tiny living room/kitchen.
ReplyDeleteNext weekend is my son's graduation party--twice that or more all over my house/yard. I'm exhausted and it's a week away!
I've got wedding invites to make for a friend, that wedding to go to, June CampWriMo (8100 words so far!) of a book I have wanted to write forever, and August CampWriMo to do book two in a series I've been working on.
I've got to do a major decluttering in my house and oy!
Happy summer to us!
I have to finish my book, a Christmas family project thing. And...crazy...I'm actually thinking of writing some A-Z posts for next year's A-Z challenge! It was my first time this year, and I just went day to day...nuts!
