  1. Hi Dawn! Thanks for coming by my blog, I'm so glad to meet you. This is so true about inspiration and ideas, sometimes I find them in the most surprising places, and it usually seems to be when I'm not trying at all. Great I post! :)

Inspiration is all around. We just need to keep our eyes open. :0)

  2. I love these little posters. You're right that inspiration is everywhere but you also have to be in the correct frame of mind to benefit from it. There are some days when it could drop onto your head and you wouldn't even notice.

    1. Rosalind,
I agree. Grumpiness is not conducive to finding inspiration. LOL.

  3. I love that! I get inspiration from just daily life and it should be that way. Writing ideas can be found anywhere. :)

    1. Krista,
Yep, its true. The other morning as I walked in to work, the clouds were awesome. The first thing I did at my desk was write about them.

We just need to be looking for the inspiration.

  5. Prexactly she says with a firm nod of her head Everywhere there is inspiration, in every sound, from every corner of the Universe, we must merely keep our ears trained, our eyes opened and our minds willing to accept the interchange.

  6. Dawn,

Great post! just found your blog and will definitely be back to read more. I am a follower now! (but not in a religious zealot kinda way)

I get my inspiration from the mundane. Seriously! I wrote an entire post about having a small hole in the side of my new black skirt from Nordstrom..........

  11. Don't forget prayer! I didn't know how I was going to do this A-Z Challenge so I brought all my worries and fears to God and here I am on letter K - feeling confident that I'll make it to Z.

    1. Brianna,
Yep, prayer is a good one. The Bible is one of my greatest inspirations...even for fiction.

I'm glad you gave it to God! Your posts are strong and I'm enjoying them!

  12. I read, read, read, and read some more. Sometimes I just go for long walks and think. Sometimes I check out to think while moving through my chores on auto pilot. It is during those times that my hubby thinks I've utterly lost it. xo
