Our Sunday School class did Francis Chan's study on "Crazy Love". One of our activities was to write an epitaph for how we hope to be remembered.
Here is mine:
Death is not the end for I am alive in Christ Jesus.
Praising Him, heart overflowing with love
Humble & Weak, yet Bold & Strong in Him
A servant, a follower, stepping out in faith
"Faith without works is dead." from James 2:14-26
If you could meet Jesus face to face right now, what would you say to Him? What's the biggest change that Jesus has brought about in you?
I would say the ability to forgive, but on second thoughts I did not always manage this.
ReplyDeleteCarole Anne, Me either, but we keep trying. :0)
DeleteWorking on forgiveness to those who hurt me seriously in the past. Every time that memory appears in my mind, I forgive that person, hand the memory over to God. Then the memory becomes vague. With the blood of Jesus and forgiveness from God, I can forgive.
ReplyDeleteSusan, Isn't it awesome how God does that?!
DeleteVery serious question - the first thing if I meet Jesus today face to face, then I would bow down and thank him for sustaining me on this earth for last 53 years; and then I would ask him to grant me and my husband good health to complete our work on this earth.. the biggest change that I see in my self is the way I have evolved as woman of faith; responding to his call and being relevant to the time... thanks for sharing... you made me think...
ReplyDeleteI love what you shared! I have changed so much too in my faith over the years.
