"Therefore, as the Holy Spirit says, “Today, if you hear his voice, do not harden your hearts as in the rebellion, on the day of testing in the wilderness," Hebrews 3:7-8 (ESV)
I am trying to be expectant every day that I will hear God's voice or see God in the little things of life. I want to be open to experiencing Him. I'll miss Him if I have a hardened heart.
Today, I caught myself several times getting ready to say negative things, but I shut my mouth before they popped out. I told my co-worker (a fellow Christian) that I was working on saying only things that were positive and encouraging. I want to be that kind of person, today and everyday.
Lord, soften my heart. Change my behavior into one that is pleasing to you. And, continue to put a guard at my mouth. In Jesus' name. Amen.
What is one thing you want to do change or do today?
Better use of my time. There are too many things happening at the same time these days.

Stephen, Yes. I need to do the same. I'm getting better at saying, "No" to things that are not important. How freeing that is!
