Read Luke 7:11-15.
Jesus can raise the dead.
What is “dead” in you? Ask Him to bring it to life. Are you missing meaningful
purpose or passion to do something for the Lord? Ask Him to show you what He
wants you to do. Ask him to give you passion and joy! If He is merciful enough
to raise that poor mother’s son back to life, won’t He have mercy on you, whom
He loves, and give you what you ask for in His name?!
Prayer focus: What does
God want me to do? What is my purpose?
Action Step: Show love in some way to another person. Suggestion: Do you know a
widower or elderly person that might need some help? Offer to clean windows or
do minor repairs.
“What shall we say the Kingdom of
God is like?” asked Jesus. “What parable shall we use to explain it?
It is like this. A man takes a mustard seed, the smallest seed in the
world, and plants it in the ground. After a while it grows up
and becomes the biggest of all plants. It puts out such large branches that the
birds come and make their nests in its shade.” Mark 4:30-32
