Research Publishers

I want to write new devotions for publication, so for today's exercise I'll be looking for Christian publications.

Writing Exercise: Look on-line for publishers in your genre. Target only those who fit your work. If you are looking for periodicals, make sure you check out the publication's writing guidelines and follow them exactly for the best chances at getting published!
My research is below.

Some of the Christian Publications I'm looking at:

  1. I may pursue something along these lines somewhere down future alley... :-) First, I need to find me a few more hours in the day or a volunteer secretary. Blessings!

  2. My publisher is a Christian company, too--I originally found them in the Christian Writer's Market book. I poured over a couple of Writer's Market books, and then researched the companies on the internet--it takes quite a while to pull a list together and go through all the guidelines! Looks like you're getting a great start!

  3. I attended a class at a writers conference where they mentioned how to do this. It was very helpful. Looks like you've got a good list going. Way to go! :)

Laura, Thanks for mentioning market books. I will get one (eventually).

Michelle, I'd like to hear about your conference! I'll stop by your blog.
