A New Way to Plan Your Novel

You know I am taking a Holly Lisle's course, so you'll be hearing a lot about Holly in the upcoming months as I read everything she has to offer on her website.  I came across this one today and I can't wait to try it!  I am revising my first novel right now, but I am going to use this method to write the second book in the series.

This allows you to plan all the scenes before you even start writing!

Check it out!

  1. That would be awesome :) I wrote my novel during Nano and while I LOVED it.. it has presented some 'interesting' challenges. Plotting out the story might be the best way to go next time lol

  2. Kelly, I know! I'm going to try it too. I don't usually plan out anything...I'm a pantster, but I think I could do this and have a lot of fun with it. It's like a brainstorming session!

  3. I'm definitely a pantser and I rarely write out a plot before I write. That make be helpful to plan, but I don't know if I could do it. I do tend to write notes on scraps of paper, but that's a little messy and they get lost a lot. :)

  4. Krista, I know what you mean. I think this might give me a little more organization to all my ideas. I'm going to try it (when I am done revising) and see if it might work for me.
