Unlimited Courage.
“Then Mary said, Behold, I am the handmaiden of the Lord; let it be done to me according to what you have said. And the angel left her.” Luke 1:38 (AMP)
Two years ago, God gave me a words as I
prayed. Just one word. “Courage”. I wrote it down and stuck it by my computer.
I worried over it a bit. I wondered what God was going to throw my way that
would require courage. I’m no longer worried. I have been through some trials
and been tested, but God was with me. As long as I lean on Him, I have
unlimited amounts of courage! I am excited to see what God has in store for me.
I am not afraid. And, like Mary, I want to say, “let it be done to me according
to what you have said.”
Do you deal with fear and anxiety? Has God every given you a word like courage?
Last year God gave me the word 'trust'. Like you, I was a bit concerned about what he might be requiring me to trust Him for! And like you, I grew deeper in faith and learned that He is so faithful and trustworthy, I have no need for concern.
ReplyDeleteThis year His word for me is 'less': http://notesfrominnisfree.blogspot.ca/2015/01/word-for-year.html
Blessings on your 2015!
Susan, I liked your post on "less". It might not be my word for the year, but I am all for less stuff, less stress, less weight...LOL. Thank you for sharing!
